Six of the top 10 businesses on Inc. magazine’s list of the fastest-growing companies in the Rocky Mountain region are in Colorado, including a Vail-based RV rental company that saw its business boosted by travel-hungry but safety-conscious clients during the pandemic.
Companies were ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2018 and 2020.
The 60 private companies on the Rocky Mountain regional list had an average growth rate of 253%, and added more than 4,176 jobs and nearly $1 billion in revenue to the region’s economy, the magazine found.
The 28 companies from Colorado in the ranking boasted 340% growth over the time period and garnered $231 million in total revenue. They also added 410 jobs to the local economy, and eight of the 27 were newly founded.
Companies based in Vail, Las Vegas and Boise, Idaho had the highest growth rate overall on the Inc. ranking.
The top ranking Colorado-based company on the list is Harvest Hosts, listed as No. 3. Led by CEO and entrepreneur Joel Holland, Harvest Hosts is a membership club that provides unique RV camping experiences at more than 3,200 farms, wineries, breweries, distilleries, golf courses, churches, museums, and other scenic small businesses in addition to 2,900 “Boondockers Welcome” community host locations.
The company doubled its membership base from May to December of 2020 and secured a $37 million growth investment from private equity firm Stripes in 2021 to enable it to further grow its host network and expand its membership base.

Other Colorado companies on the list include:
- No. 5, Denver’s RxRevu (now Arrive Health), a healthcare company whose platform delivers real-time, patient-specific cost information, electronic prior authorization and therapeutic alternatives at the point of care to enable shared decisions between providers and patients.
- No. 6, HomePride of Centennial, a remodeling company focused on bathroom renovations and home exterior improvements.
- No. 7, Denver’s The Dingman Group, a niche relocation management company focused on athletes, coaches, staff or employees across all five major professional sports leagues.
- No. 8, Solkoa of Colorado Springs, a veteran-owned small business that provides expertise in high-threat survival, evasion, resistance and escape, sensitive contingency operations, risk mitigation and personnel security abroad.
- No. 10, Raincatcher of Denver, helps entrepreneurs buy and sell companies using proprietary valuation and sales resources.

The 2022 Inc. 5000 Regionals are ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2018 and 2020. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019. The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2020 is $1 million.
